This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website and when you use any Selo Studios applications or services that connects to Google APIs (the “App”).

This policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our website

  • Users of our App(s), including users who connect a Google account through Google OAuth

2) Information we collect

A. Website information
When you visit our website, we may collect:

  • Basic usage data (e.g., pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type)

  • Information you submit via forms (e.g., name, email address, message details)

B. App information
If you use our App, we may collect:

  • Account identifiers needed to operate the App (e.g., your email address or user ID within the App)

  • Support and communications (messages you send us, bug reports)

C. Google user data (when you connect Google)
If you choose to connect your Google account, our App may request access to Google data only for the scopes you authorize on the Google consent screen. Our handling of Google user data is described in Sections 3–6 below.

  • Respond to inquiries and provide support

  • Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and improve reliability

4) How we use Google user data (Google API Services)

If you connect your Google account, we use Google user data only to provide the user-facing features of the App you choose to use.

Limited Use
Selo’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In practical terms, this means:

  • We only use Google user data to provide or improve the App’s user-facing functionality you expect.

  • We do not use Google user data for advertising profiling or unrelated marketing.

  • We do not sell Google user data.

5) Sharing and disclosure

We may share information in these limited cases:

  • Service providers that help us run the website/App (e.g., hosting, analytics, error logging), under confidentiality obligations

  • Legal / security reasons (to comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect rights/safety)

  • With your direction (e.g., when you trigger a feature that sends content to a third-party destination)

Google user data sharing:
We do not share Google user data with third parties except:

  • As necessary to provide the App’s core functionality you request, and/or

  • With vetted service providers acting on our behalf under contract, and/or

  • As required by law

6) Data retention and deletion

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Google data retention:

  • We retain Google user data only as needed to provide the App’s functionality.

  • You can request deletion of App-stored data at any time by contacting us (see Section 11).

  • If the App provides an in-product “disconnect” option, disconnecting your Google account will stop ongoing access.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

8) Your choices

Depending on how you use our services, you may be able to:

  • Opt out of non-essential cookies (where applicable)

  • Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information

  • Disconnect your Google account from the App (if available), which stops future Google API access

9) International users

If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate.

10) Children’s privacy

Our website and App are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
